Due to West Virginia state laws, the Arts on the River festival will be selling these beers directly, therefore the breweries listed may not all be present. However the wineries will be on site through the duration of the festival!

"We are the owners and operators of Bridge Brew Works, Ken Linch and Nathan Herrold. We have a love for the World's many great beer styles and a dedication for following traditional brewing methods using only the best ingredients. Our pension for quality is evident in the distinctive beers we brew.
We share an interest in the details of craft brewing: the subtle differences that different techniques and ingredients can make while always creating high quality beer that tastes amazing. We soon realized that our common interest, along with knowledge, experience, and passion, made for a great partnership."

Mountain State Brewing Company
Thomas, West Virginia

"As Natives of West Virginia, it has long been our dream to bring quality hand-crafted beer back to our state.
Originally from Elkins and Helvetia, we were raised on easy drinking beers and homemade wine. Curiosity eventually got the best of us, and we combined the two - our first batch of homebrew was conceived in the early 90's with home brewing equipment, books, and some ingredients handed down from our parent's home brewing days in the 70's.
Since then we've learned a lot about brewing professionally. We developed easy drinking and well rounded beers with our own state of the art brewing equipment. We sold our first beer in October 2005 and now we're distributing throughout the Canaan Valley, Davis, Thomas, Elkins, Morgantown and Fayetteville."

Vu Ja De Vineyards
http://vujadevineyards.com/
Spencer, West Virginia
"The Winery: Vu ja de is truly a winemaker’s winery. You will see very few machines used at Vu ja de. If a wine needs to be raked or transferred from barrel to barrel, we don’t use pumps instead we use our shinning star, “the yellow jacket,” an army issued forklift truck painted into a killer stinger bee. It lifts the wine to allow us to use gravity flow.
Vu ja de uses the same French Oak barrels that go into California’s cult wine’s in the $200+ range and we ferment in Italian stainless steel tanks.
Vu ja de does the small things that takes extra effort, like farming without herbicides or pesticides, using biodynamic principles and being kind to the grapes, however our quality standards are nothing but the very best.
Vu ja de shuns big, non-personable equipment and pumps that oxidize wine. It may sound arrogant, maybe; however we actually DO what others say they do. The kind of work we do on a daily basis sets us apart; it is just natural for us.
Vu ja de isn’t here to sell to the masses; instead we choose to invest time and passion into every single bottle of wine we make so that it is the very best. Remember “Vu ja de Vineyards” means wine like you have never tasted before."
